GMO Free Feed
These days more and more consumers are looking for ways to avoid GMOs (genetically modified organisms) in their food. This includes what they feed their animals and poultry. An additional benefit of buying our organic feed is that the ingredients are regulated by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) National Organic Program.
GMOs are prohibited from certified organic products, which means farmers are not allowed to plant GMO seeds, an organic cow canít eat GMO alfalfa or corn, and an organic feed producer canít use any GMO ingredients. To meet the USDA organic regulations, farmers and processors must show they arenít using GMOs and that they are protecting their products from contact with prohibited substances, such as GMOs.
